Icon Salons HB embodies the perfect blend of luxury, elegance, and community spirit, creating a brand that appeals to a diverse clientele across generations. Situated in a prime, high-traffic area, Icon Salons HB had the unique challenge of merging two established salon brands - each with its own distinct reputation and loyal client base - under one unified identity. The result is a brand that exudes sophistication and prestige while embracing a strong sense of inclusion, diversity, and community.
Since the rebranding, Icon Salons HB has seen increased brand recognition and an uptick in followers, thanks to the clear design direction that extends across salon signage, social media, and overall aesthetics. The striking signage, visible from the road frontage position, has further solidified the salon’s presence in the area, drawing in both existing and new clients.
For us, working on this luxurious and elegant brand was a delightful experience. The opportunity to merge two strong salon identities into a cohesive and sophisticated brand under the Icon Salons HB name was both challenging and rewarding. The final result is a brand that not only meets but exceeds expectations, positioning Icon Salons HB as a leader in the luxury salon market while remaining deeply rooted in the community it serves.
The design direction for Icon Salons HB was carefully crafted to convey the salon’s personality and the breadth of its experience. The striking black and silver colour palette, with a silver chrome-like finish, immediately signals luxury and high-end services, appealing to both younger and older clientele. The customised typography, enhanced with a thicker finish after minor revisions, offers a modern yet timeless feel, ensuring the brand remains relevant and appealing to all clients. The design is complemented by the Bubbling Rose hue, reminiscent of spring and summer, which adds warmth and a friendly, approachable vibe to the brand, balancing the strong, contrasting colours with a touch of serenity and calm.
Bonnie, the salon owner, was keen to maintain the established reputations of both salons while creating a fresh, unified brand that would continue to thrive in the competitive market. The new branding for Icon Salons HB delivers a clear and concise message of elegance, professionalism, and a welcoming community atmosphere. The logo, with its chic and classy design, is not only eye-catching but also reflective of the salon’s commitment to providing high-quality services in a sophisticated environment.
