What if I only need just a logo? While a logo is an important component of your brand, you will always need so much more - think colour palette, logo variations to fit different spaces and backgrounds, typography, icons, layouts, etc. A full brand identity includes these elements and more. All of these work together to create a cohesive and memorable visual representation of your brand. These elements help convey your brand's personality, values, and unique characteristics, making it stand out in a crowded market. By investing in a full brand identity, you are not only creating a strong visual identity but also ensuring consistency and cohesiveness across all your marketing materials, leading to a more impactful and memorable brand presence. We believe that creating a complete brand identity is essential to effectively communicate your brand's story and connect with your target audience in a meaningful way.
-
Why does branding cost so much?Brand strategy & design are key investments in your business. Without a well-thought-out, intentional and aligned brand you will struggle to connect with your ideal tribe. Our branding solutions are comprehensive and tailored to each client's unique needs. We understand that branding is essential for your business's success, as it creates a strong and cohesive identity that sets you apart from competitors. This is why our brand packages include in-depth research into your industry, developing various custom visual elements, and creating a brand strategy that resonates with your target audience. How do I know if I'm ready to hire a designer?I would encourage you to enquire when you have the time to devote to the project, as it can be quite involved on both ends with questionnaires, direction brief, feedback, etc.
-
How many concepts will you create? We believe in quality over quantity. That's why we use the 'one concept method', presenting you with one comprehensive and meticulously crafted concept. This approach allows us to dedicate our full attention to understanding your business and delivering a solution that encapsulates your brand identity without overwhelming you with multiple options.
-
What if I don't like the initial concept? We understand that design is subjective, and we value open and clear communication with our clients. Our goal is to create designs that not only appeal to you but, also effectively resonate with your audience, so your feedback is incredibly valuable in achieving this. If we feel your feedback doesn’t align with your target audience or design brief, we will let you know, and brainstorm together to ensure that the final design meets your needs and objectives. Your satisfaction is our top priority, and we are committed to working with you to create a design that you love.
-
Can I add items to the package?Absolutely! Obviously, this will incur additional costs which will be discussed before commencing.
-
What is the branding guidelines document and why do I need one?A branding guidelines document is a comprehensive and detailed reference that outlines the visual and verbal elements of a business's brand identity. The branding guidelines document includes information about our logo usage, colour palette, typography, and tone of voice. It also guides how to apply these elements across various marketing materials, both digitally and in print. Having a branding guidelines document in place is essential for maintaining consistency and continuity in your brand's messaging and visual representation. It serves as a valuable resource for you, your employees, and any third-party vendors or agencies you work with, ensuring that everyone accurately and effectively represents your brand. By following the guidelines outlined in the document, you can reinforce the integrity of your brand identity, build brand recognition, and establish a strong and cohesive brand presence in the market.
-
Can I remove items from the package?Yes, this is also possible, provided it is not a key element for your visual identity ie. colours, typography.
-

Is Wix Studio a good platform to build a site on?We've been building websites on Wix for four years now. The seamless drag-and-drop technology makes Wix sites user-friendly which is great for small business owners, as they can make updates and apply small changes without needing to hire a designer every time!
-
I already have a logo, can you build me a website?Website creation requires so much more than just a logo! Let's assess where your branding is at first to ensure you have all the necessary elements available to create an outstanding website that is authentically aligned with your brand. Note: We do prefer that our clients start their branding journey with us (although not necessary), to ensure every element is backed by strategy and research, helping you achieve the desired results out of your investment.
-
Can you work on my Wix website that I've already created? This largely depends on the size of the project and the extent of work required. We are happy to help make minor changes and basic updates to a site you've created. If your project requires extensive revisions, we are likely to recommend a rebuild to ensure your site; - Is built with the most up to date version of Wix Editor/Studio, and - Has completed all necessary actions, connections, content and final tasks
-
How long does it take to build a Wix website? We've found that it typically takes at between 3-8 weeks to get a new website up and running. This is all dependent upon how prepared you are and the complexity of your site.
-
Do I need to have a brand photoshoot?Technically, no. Ideally, yes! We strongly recommend that our clients consider having a professional photoshoot shortly after the branding process. High-quality images of yourself as the face of the brand is so important when it comes to humanising your brand; it showcases your unique personality and brings your brand to life! Even if you are not a personal brand/face of your brand, such as if you have a team or prefer not to be the core focus, you will probably still want to do a shoot of your team, or you can focus on 'lifestyle' or 'behind the scenes' images such as hands, props etc that convey the mood and feel of your brand. We recommend completing this 'after' the branding process and before the website build, so you can incorporate your new brand colours and printed collateral within the shoot, reinforcing your brand recognition and consistency with your target audience. If you are not in a spot to host a complete photoshoot, start out with a headshot of yourself! If local to Hervey Bay, we highly recommend Holl Harley!
-
What do I need before building a website? These are the things I'll need from you before starting your website project to ensure your project stays within budget and on time. If you do not have any of the below please reach out! Some of these are items I may be able to assist with. ESTABLISHED BUSINESS: You legally own your business name (ASIC registered), have an Australian business bank account, and have set up payment merchant accounts such as Paypal, Stripe, Square, and/or AfterPay, etc. COMPUTER ACCESS: Building and maintaining a website cannot be completed efficiently from a mobile phone or tablet, having access to or owning a desktop (preferred) or laptop with a decent screen size is an absolute must! DOMAINS & EMAIL: You have secured all your domains (.com, .com.au, .au etc), and have a professional email address (not @gmail.com). I recommend Google Domains & Google Workspace! SOCIAL PRESENCE: You have begun setting up your Google business listing, and social media accounts - all with the same URL handle! BRANDING: This includes an up to date, high resolution logo in three layouts - portrait, landscape, circle, plus reversed out versions (all white), at least two brand fonts, and at least three-five branded colours to create your site. Canva-made logos or brands missing any of these key ingredients won't be accepted initially, but referred to my 'Get Brand Clarity Workshop' or to my brand bundles. BRAND PHOTOGRAPHY: It is recommended that you have branded photographs in a high resolution digital format to bring your website to life. If you are not in a spot to host a complete photoshoot, start out with a headshot of yourself! If local to Hervey Bay, we highly recommend Holl Harley! COPYWRITING: You'll want to start mapping out what content you want on your site. Start with the basics: your welcome hook (what you do and who you serve), an about story, what sets you apart, and a description of your services. I will provide you will some copywriting guidance at the beginning of our project. AVAILABILITY: You hold all of the pieces needed to put your site together. It's your vision we're executing so you'll want to be able to devote time to regular meetings, responding to emails, and providing feedback! FINANCIALS: A website is a big investment in your business, but a worthwhile one if you are ready to take the leap! Your website will be your silent seller when you're not around generating additional revenue for years to come.
