How do we communicate?
Mostly via email and our Trello Collab Portal. Zoom is available as needed for a face-to-face touchpoint. Zooms are booked on Mondays and Tuesdays only, allowing the rest of the week for creativity! I respond to emails Mon-Thurs between 9am-2pm.
Can I request a specific start date?
If I have availability, absolutely. I’ll let you know the next available booking window when we chat, and we’ll lock it in once the paperwork and payment are sorted.
What if I don’t like the initial concept?
Don’t stress, this is a collaboration. You’ll receive one carefully crafted concept based on your creative direction. You have two rounds of refinements to tweak it into something that truly feels like you. The more open and honest your feedback, the better the final result.
What are your payment terms?
All invoices under $1000 are to be paid in full prior to commencement of any work. All invoices over $1001 require an initial 50% non-refundable retainer payment prior to the commencement of any work. All invoices must be paid in full and finalised prior to the delivery of any files, or the ordering of
printed collateral. Due to the digital and creative nature of our services, we do not offer refunds. All design projects and sales are final due to the customised nature of downloadable files and your permanent access to them once delivered.
How do payments work?
Payments can be made via bank transfer only. An initial 50% non-refundable retainer payment is due prior to the commencement of any work. All invoices must be paid in full and finalised prior to the delivery of any files or printe collateral.
Are there any extra costs I should know about?
My design fee covers the design aspect of your project. Additional costs to be considered are printing, premium font licenses, premium stock image licenses, extra rounds refinements, requests outside of the original project scope, and external tools such as third-party subscriptions like Canva,
Adobe Express.
Will I see a return on my investment?
Good design is always a positive investment in your business. It builds trust, boosts recognition, and helps you show up with confidence. As for the return? That power is in your hands. When you pair great visuals with clear messaging and consistent action, the results tend to speak for themselves.
What’s included in the final file delivery for a custom brand project?
You’ll receive a Dropbox link to your Client Drive with thoughtfully organised folders for your included brand files in various formats - AI, EPS, PNG, PDF, JPG, SVG, and colour modes RGB + CMYK.
Are the font files and licenses included?
Font files and licensing rights are not included with any project due to copyright laws. We will provide you with the links to purchase/download. Some fonts selected may incur fees.
Note: The lettering used in your logo will not a downloadable font as it will be uniquely customised to suit.
What if I want to add something later?
You’re always welcome to request additional services after the project wraps, either casually (hourly design rate) or through my monthly design retainer.
What happens if I need to pause the project?
No worries, life isn’t always linear. If something comes up and you need to pause, just let me know in writing as soon as possible so we can make a plan. Clear communication is key. If I don’t hear from you for 30 business days, your project may be considered abandoned and rebooking fees may apply.
What if I change my mind after I book?
Once the retainer is paid and your booking is confirmed, your project is officially reserved. We do not offer refunds due to the nature of our work so please only proceed if you're confident and ready to commit to create something amazing together.
What if I’m not ready to start right away?
Totally fine, this is your journey, not a race. If you need more time to think, reflect, or get aligned with your goals, honour that. This proposal is valid for 30 days, so feel free to sleep on it, reach out with questions, or book a follow-up chat. No pressure. Just clarity when the time’s right.
